MAN SHOT, ANOTHER ON THE RUN AT STINKING CREEK

A manhunt is underway after another individual was shot in the Stinking Creek community. School buses in the area are being escorted out of an abundance of caution.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshals, is investigating a shooting at Big Creek in the Stinking Creek community, where one male has suffered two gunshot wounds to the lower extremities and is being airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, according to information from Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith.

Officials are currently searching for one suspect in the shooting.
