Obituary - Gary Wayne Garland

Mr. Gary Wayne Garland, 71, of Gray, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Harve and Julia Taylor Garland born January 1, 1952 in Barbourville.

Gary was a former contractor and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Leanne Garland; sister, Sandra Hobbs and special niece, Julie Hobbs.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Wayne Garland Jr. and Harvey Samuel Garland; sisters, Sharon Rogers and Brenda Bargo; special nephew Paul Steven Bargo; among other loved ones and dear friends.

A memorial visitation will be held in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, November 13, 2023 between 6 and 8 P.M.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
