Obituary - Harlan Taylor

Harlan C. Taylor age 63 of Hinkle, Kentucky departed this life on March 3, 2024, at his residence. He was the son of Harlan Taylor and Oda (Smith) Taylor born on September 5, 1960. He loved fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, riding horses and spending time with his granddaughter, nephews, nieces and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harlan and Oda Taylor, one brother J.C. Taylor, niece Buffy Smith

Left behind to mourn his passing his wife Joy Taylor, one daughter Kasi Grande and husband Neil of Corbin, four siblings Dennia Chadwell and James Patton of Girdler, Wilma Sherrod and husband Mark of Knoxville, Tennessee, Carrol Chavies and husband Dennis of Himyar, Kentucky, T.J. Taylor and wife Sheila of Lancaster, Kentucky, one granddaughter McKenna Jo Grande. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Graveside service for Harlan C. Taylor will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvin Jordan Cemetery at Woolum, Kentucky with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Family and friends will leave from the funeral home at 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
