Laurel County Teacher Charged With Possession of Child Sexual Material

A Knox County man was arrested Sunday, May 3, 2026 following an investigation by the Barbourville Police Department and Laurel County Schools after explicit photos of an underage female were requested by a Laurel County school system employee, where he was a teacher and swim coach.

Bradley Kyle Yeager, 35, was arrested and charged with Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by Minor Under 12 Years of Age and Procure or Promote Use of Minor by Electronic Means.

A statement from Barbourville Police Department Chief Adam Townsley stated that during the investigation, evidence was obtained resulting in the execution of a search warrant at Yeager’s residence.

Yeager remains incarcerated in the Knox County Detention Center where he is held pending an arraignment scheduled for Monday, May 4.

The ongoing investigation was conducted by Chief Adam Townsley, PTL. Chase Henson, and Laurel County Schools Police Chief Jessie Williams. The Barbourville Police Department was assisted in the execution of the search warrant by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
