Mayors and Media Conference 2024 addresses issues facing local government and media

A first-ever Mayors and Media Conference was held Wednesday, October 2 at J. Frank Publishing in London, Ky. The conference, sponsored by Mountain Association, allowed mayors from cities represented by Nolan Group Media properties to participate in a candid, open discussion about issues confronting both media and local government.
Attending the conference were Berea Mayor Bruce Fraley, Manchester Mayor Scott Collins, Barbourville Mayor David Thompson, Pineville Mayor Scott Madon and London Mayor Randall Weddell, and was attended by Manchester Enterprise Publisher Mark Hoskins, Pineville Sun Publisher Linn Hobbs, Mountain Advocate Publisher Charles Myrick, and virtually by Berea Citizen Publisher Keith Taylor.
The group was treated to a tour of J. Frank Publishing's printing facility, followed by a lunch from Old Town Grill courtesy of Mountain Association.
