Moore promoted to Chief Master Sgt.

A 1998 graduate of Barbourville High School was promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant on October 13, 2024.

Chief Master Sergeant Michael A. Moore (Pete) is the son of the late Michael T. Moore and Brenda Moore. Following high school, he attended DeVry University before going on to Northern Kentucky University for two years. He joined the military on September 22, 2000, beginning his career with training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas.

The recipient of numerous awards throughout his military career has served as the Maintenance Production Superintendent for the 123d Maintenance Squadron, Kentucky Air National Guard in Louisville, Ky.
