Community Events - Week of 11-06-24

Al-Anon (Support for Families and Friends of Alcoholics) meets weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Barbourville. 

Feed My Sheep Community Meal is once again starting our free weekly meal. We will serve on each Thursday at 6 p.m. except for 1st Thursday of the month. Hope to see all our old friends. We are located in Corbin on College St in The Barn.

The annual Veteran’s Day Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, North Main St. A special luncheon is sponsored by Hometown Bank. 

Williamsburg Gospel Barn invites you to our Veterans Day Celebration on Saturday, November 9th at 6 PM. Featuring southern gospel singer and veteran Tim Ellison of Bean Station, TN. Speakers include veterans David Newsome and veteran Thomas Corder of McCreary County, KY. Admission is free. Doors open at 5 PM.

The annual Bells of Peace ceremony will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11 at East Barbourville Baptist Church. Everyone is invited.

Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. until November 19 except for 1st Tuesday of the month.

All are invited and encouraged to attend the Community Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. at First Christian Church.  The Barbourville Community Chorus will also perform.
