Obituary - Arthur Looper

Mr. Arthur Looper, age 73 of Corbin, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Dorothy McQueen. He was born on September 27, 1951 in London, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy McQueen, his grandparents; John and Charity May Lewis,  Aunts; Velva, June, Goldie and Ruby, his uncle William Bill Lewis, and Roxie Chesnut and Charity Mae Chesnut.

Left behind to mourn his passing, his aunt Bonnie Lewis, his cousin raised as a brother John Chesnut Sr. and Angel, cousins, Donna Lou (Johnny Baker), Jimmy Chesnut (Terry Bowling), nephew John Chesnut, Jr., and a surviving relative William Boyd Lewis, Jr., his children Misty Looper and Charles Looper and many friends and family to mourn his passing. 

Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Looper will be conducted at 12:00 (Noon) on Monday, December 2, 2024 in the chapel of Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home with Donnie Tabor officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Owsley Cemetery at Lily, Kentucky. 

Friends of Mr. Arthur Looper may call from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 (Noon) at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home.
