County officials visit City School’s JAG program

On August 31, Barbourville City School got a special visit from a host of Knox County officials.
JAG, which is the school’s ‘Jobs for America’s Graduates’ Career Association, were set to hold their program election on September 1.
In honor of the event, students within the program were able to meet and here from Knox County Clerk Mike Corey, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith, and Suzanne Smith from the County Clerk’s office.
The trio spoke with students on the importance of the election process as well as explaining the process of registering to vote.
A healthy Knox County requires great community news.
