Groundbreaking held for new Barbourville City Hall (Photo Gallery)

Officials with the City of Barbourville broke ground Friday for the new City Hall building project.

With a full City Council present, as well as three Knox County magistrates and other city officials and community leaders, Mayor David Thompson lead the council in a ceremonial groundbreaking to celebrate the commencement of construction on the new building.
