Al-Anon (Support for Families and Friends of Alcoholics) meets weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Barbourville.
Redemption & Recovery
Each Friday at 12:30 p.m. Redemption & Recovery meets at East Barbourville Baptist Church. Lunch provided.
Feed My Sheep Community Meal
Feed My Sheep Community Meal is once again starting our free weekly meal. We will serve on each Thursday at 6 p.m. except for 1st Thursday of the month. Hope to see all our old friends. We are located in Corbin on College St in The Barn.
Knox County Farmers’ Market
Knox County Farmers’ Market, 4-7 pm, Thursday, rain or shine, at the Knox County Extension pavilion, 215 Treuhaft Blvd (across from ARH hospital in Barbourville.)
Gospel Barn closed Sat., September 7
Williamsburg Gospel Barn will be closed on Saturday, September 7th, for Old Fashion Days in Williamsburg. We invite you to join us downtown for some great gospel music. We will open the gospel barn again on Saturday, September 14th with the Singing Cupps in concert. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Knox County Farm Bureau Meeting
Knox County Farm Bureau Federation and Knox County Insurance Company will host the 2024 Annual Meeting on Friday, September 6th at the Knox County Extension Pavilion beginning at 6:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be State Representative Tom O’Dell Smith. A meal will be provided and door prizes awarded. All Knox County Farm Bureau Members are invited to attend.
KCHS Class of 1974 Reunion
The Knox Central High School Class of 1974 is having their 50 year reunion at 6:00 p.m. on September 21, 2024. The informal gathering will be at 120 N. Broadway, Barbourville, Kentucky. Please contact Cheryl Davis-Thompson or Loretta Stewart via Facebook Messenger if you plan to attend.

New Bible study geared to military, but open to anyone starts next week
A new Bible study tailored for military and first responders, but open to everyone, begins on Tuesday, September 10. The weekly study will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Beacon Baptist Church, 190 Stephen Trace Road in Barbourville. The study is open to everyone regardless of military involvement. “We are all soldiers of Christ.”
A healthy Knox County requires great community news.
