Obituary - Sandra Faye Brown Hunley

Sandra Faye Brown Hunley, at the young age of 60, went on vacation with her husband, Donnie Hunley. God decided that she needed to come home, so she departed this life in Fort Lauderdale, FL and woke up in her eternal home in Glory on February 10, 2025. Oh, what a vacation she is having now.
Sandy believed in the Holiness Faith and attended Binghamtown Baptist Church with her husband, Donnie. She was a good and faithful servant and had a Servant's heart. To know Sandy was to love Sandy.
Sandy was a talented seamstress and was the owner of Sandy's Stitches and Seams. She had also worked at Cawood Law Office and Johnson Law Office for many years. She loved working with her flowers and spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her "sister" trips.
First and foremost, Sandy was a child of the King. God chose Eugene and Virginia Brown to be her parents and she was born to them on February 27, 1964, at home in Scalf, Knox County, Kentucky. Sandy was the oldest of ten children and they became The Brown Clan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Brown and husband, Wendell Saylor.
A wonderful and loving mother to her three sons, George Davis and wife, Brittany, of Grundy, VA, Nicholas Davis of Pineville, KY and Kevin Davis and wife, Melissa of Harlan, KY. Later in life, Sandy was united in marriage to Wendell Saylor, who preceded her in death. On July 4, 2024, she married Donnie Hunley.
Sandy was the big sister to Billy Brown of Barbourville, KY, Barbara Gambrel of Scalf, KY, Becky Mills and husband, Tony of Scalf, KY, Richard Brown of Sandy Hook, KY, Louisa Farley and husband, Mark of Corbin, KY, Rita Baker and husband, Larry of Scalf, KY, Charlotte Dial and husband, Chris of Dewitt, KY, Roberta Lawson and husband, Aaron of Pineville, KY and Baby Gene Brown and wife, Michelle of Big Rock, VA. She had four stepchildren, Donnie Willis Hunley and wife, Jessica, Ashley Daniels and husband, Nathaniel, Scottie Hunley and wife, Heather and Hillary Hunley; Sandy had thirteen grandchildren, Destiny, Anika, Gloria, Adison, McKinsley and Oakland Davis, Colton and Adilyn Hunley, Levi, Zander and Clay Daniels, Mallorie and Nora Hunley along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral Service will be on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev, Bo Henson, Rev. Ken Merida and Rev. William Boyd Bingham. She will be laid to rest in the Saylor Family Cemetery in Jenson, KY. Pallbearers will be sons, nephews, and brothers-in-law.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, KY.
